Choice #1: Chicken Marsala with shallot and almond French beans and garlic mashed potatoes.
Choice #2: 10oz Chopped Steak with a salt crusted baked potato.
Choice #3: Grilled Chicken Fettucini Alfredo.
All are served with a dinner salad and iced tea, coffee, or water
There will be a cash bar available for those wishing a mature refresher.

Speaker: Hessam Vali will give us a brief overview of one of the projects he has been working on through Wichita State University College of Engineering. Hessam is the 2012 ASQ Section 1307 Scholarship recipient.
Presentation: Recognitions and accomplishments of select members and Member Leaders will be delivered. Lots of time for questions and answers and networking with Quality minded professionals.

Speaker: Art Bierschbach,
Bio:
Art is currently a consultant for the Mid-America Manufacturing Development Center, MAMTC. He has developed MAMTC’s Leadership Development Services program, which focuses on helping manufacturers develop better leaders in their companies, and on leading meaningful change in their organizations. Art’s experience includes 23 years in the Air Force following graduation from the Air Force Academy. During that time, he served as a fighter pilot in the F-111 and an instructor pilot in the T- 37. When not flying, Art also served as a NATO staff officer, a Program Element Monitor at the Pentagon, and a program manager on the Joint Strike Fighter program. Following his Air Force career, Art joined Raytheon, a Department of Defense contractor, as a program manager in Technical Services’ Engineering and Production Support division in Indianapolis, Indiana. He entered Raytheon’s Lean Six Sigma training in 2003, and was certified as a Black Belt in March of 2004. Art has led several award winning projects that reduced manufacturing hours, improved throughput, and increased customer satisfaction with Raytheon. His recent activities range from leading Lean improvements on the production line to implementing more effective project management by conducting successful Six Sigma projects which significantly improved quality to the customer on the Premier aircraft. He has also developed and conducted Six Sigma training for Hawker Beechcraft on process improvement, driving change in the organization, and root cause corrective action. Art is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt who has spoken at numerous conferences on Lean Six Sigma, and is Section 1307 2011-2012 Chair.
